Customer Reviews of the Exeter River Lodge

Honeymoon to Mauritius and South Africa during June 2011

We were made to feel at home but treated as VIP's! The lodge was exceptionally luxurious with amazing view of river, this meant that there was always different animals feeding from the river bank visible from our room. The Staff were definitely the most hospitable I have ever encountered. Nothing was a problem, they all knew us by first name & chatted away to us with a smile. Every Night The Staff had planned a different treat on return from our drive. The Food & Wine was amazing, from breakfast to dinner. We were so lucky to have Andrew & Phixin as our ranger & driver. You couldn't but absorb their passion and enthusiasm for the wildlife & had great craic with them! I often dream of being back under the big Marula Tree, having lunch and sipping cold White wine watching the wildlife in the river!
