Nottens Bush Camp, South Africa

This is by far my favourite lodge in the Sabi Sands. I only had one night at the lodge but I remember it fondly. The owners Gilly and Bambi made me feel welcome and even remembered our MD Greg Fox’s visit to them as a toddler in the 1970’s! The meals are had in an imitate setting under the stars and guests are very much encouraged to interact with other guests. Also one of the most memorable of all of my safaris experiences was had at Nottens when I encountered a pack of the rare Wild Dogs including 14 puppies! I also love the fact that the rooms are lit by candlelight providing a more authentic safari experience. I highly recommend Notten’s to anyone looking for a safari experience to remember.

South Africa Review

I loved it. I did not think it was so developed and so clean and there were no potholes on the roads. My conclusion is that I was very ignorant about the country. The level of developement I foundw as far superior to what I had anticipated and the quality of the food was excellent. In terms of crime...
