Waterbuck Game Lodge Star Rating

Robert Andersson, South Africa

Waterbuck Game Lodge would be one of my favourite of the 4 star Thornybush Lodges. I liked it because it well shaded and I liked the feeling of being really tucked away in the bush. Like N’Kaya Lodge it is very small and offers secluded, private experience. If you prefer the anonymity of larger lodges this is not for you. If you like the feeling of being ‘at home’ in a relaxed, laid back lodge this is definitely for you.

Honeymoon to South Africa and Mauritius during September 2011

Beautiful room/lodge. Felt very intimate as only 4 rooms, so there were only 2 other couples with us there. Impressed by the food, and the staff were knowledgeable and very warm.

Holiday to South Africa during September 2010

South Africa Review

I loved it. I did not think it was so developed and so clean and there were no potholes on the roads. My conclusion is that I was very ignorant about the country. The level of developement I foundw as far superior to what I had anticipated and the quality of the food was excellent. In terms of crime...
