Yellow Lodge, South Africa

Adam Chapman

I was pleasantly surprised by Yellow Lodge. As it is so reasonably priced I didn't expect the rooms and setting to be so lovely. The gardens are so inviting and the position of the lodge, tucked away from the busier streets of Stellenbosch, makes it a peaceful place to stay for a couple of nights. I would highly recommend this quaint lodge in this historically important building.

Holiday to South Africa during February 2011

South Africa Review

We have been to South Africa before in February/March when it is the depths of winter in the UK. Envigorating to get away from our dismal weather and the South Africans we have met have always made us welcome. Where we have been, we have alway felt safe although we have clearly avoided the townships...
