The following is a sample holiday taking in a northern circuit safari and a Zanzibar beach stay. In the Serengeti portion you will be staying in a mobile tented camp. These camps move through the southern, central and northern Serengeti every couple of months, in areas of great wildlife concentration and to follow the famous wildebeest migration. Day 1 & 2:
Arrive Kilimanjaro. Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park & Ngorongoro Crater and stay two nights at:
Day 3 - 5:
Transfer to Serengeti National Park and enjoy three nights at:
Day 6 - 10:
Light aircraft flight to Zanzibar and transfer to enjoy five nights at:

Day 1:
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by your driver guide who will escort you to your 4x4 vehicle to begin your safari. From Kilimanjaro you will take the scenic drive south to Lake Manyara National Park. You will then spend the afternoon, with a picnic lunch, game viewing in the park before transferring to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
After an early breakfast you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of fantastic game viewing. Your permit is for six hours in the crater game viewing after which you will head back to the lodge. Afternoon at your leisure.
Day 3 - 5:
After breakfast, you will head toward the Serengeti National Park via the Malanja Depression, stopping on route to visit the famous Olduvai Gorge (world-famous hominid fossil site) were you will have your picnic lunch. For the next three nights you will be staying at the Sernegeti Exclusive Mobile Camp. The camp is semi permanent and moves with the animals as the migration passes up the Serengeti.
Spend your next two days exploring the famous Serengeti Plains and the abundance of wildlife it harbours. Take a picnic lunch and spend the whole day in search of the big five and the other game that make this region famous or go back to your lodge for hot lunch and then out again in the cool of the afternoon.
Day 6 - 10:
After an early breakfast you will head to the airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar (via Arusha). On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met at the airport and transferred to Matemwe Retreat.
Spend the next 5 days relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of Zanzibar, the Spice Island. Relax on the beach or take part in one of the many activities offered by Matemwe Bungalows. Whether you want an active holiday or just to relax, Zanzibar has something for everybody.
Day 11:
After breakfast (depending on your flight times) you will be met by your driver who will transfer you to the airport for your return flight home.
