Lake Masek Luxury Tented Safari Camp, Ndutu

Jamie Pallin, Tanzania

I was really impressed by the quality of this camp and its great wild location. The four poster beds and claw foot bath tubs add a romantic feel to the tents, wonderful for couples. The food was fantastic topped off by dining out on the veranda with views across Lake Masek to enjoy.

  • Jamie Pallin

Lake Masek offers tented luxury on the grassy plains of Ndutu, bordering the great Serengeti National Park. This area plays host to the great migration of wildebeest from around December to April but there is plenty more to see here year round. Set on the shores of Lake Masek its beautiful setting is the perfect spot for watching the sun set while hippos wallow below you.

Roughly 5km from Ndutu Airstrip if you wish to get a light aircraft, of 4 – 5 hours drive from Arusha.
