Honeymoon to Tanzania during June 2012

Review of Ras Kutani

The place was perfect for us as we wanted 3 days of chill out to start the honeymoon and thats exactly what we got. Cottage was great, huge bed, very natural feel to the place - perfect for relaxing. Food was really good and loads of it. Staff were exceptional all of them took time to speak to you and get to know you. Turtles were being hatched first afternoon we were there - amazing sight. We had dinner on the beach and a dinner on the pontoon over the lagoon beautiful. Only downside - couple of their cocktails not quite up to scratch and the snorkelling off the reef/beach was dire - vis was less than 2 feet! Good bodyboarding though.

Honeymoon to Tanzania during June 2012

Review of Ras Kutani

Ras Kutani was intended as a small bonus of respite and very much the least expensive aspect of our honeymoon. That all said, we were in absolute awe and amazement of how incredible it was. The service was second to none, the food to die for and the range of activities were fantastic. Given the relatively low costs involved, we would without a doubt recommend Ras Kutani to anyone visiting Tanzania and looking for some relaxation time. The only change we would have made in hindsight would have been to upgrade to fully inclusive as the drinks inclusions for this were far greater than one would normally expect. That said, the drinks prices were still very fair, and fruit juice and tea and coffee were complimentary.
