Honeymoon to Tanzania during October 2011

Sable Mountain was a beautiful spot, with amazing sunset views from our 'banda'. The accommodation was clean and comfortable - we enjoyed being open to the elements and welcoming in the geckoes! The outdoor shower was fantastic, though the private plunge pool was not operational. The flight in was an experience in itself, as the tiny plane (we were the only passengers) landed on the dirt strip! We immediately was elephants and giraffe and went on to see lions, crocs, hippos and lots of birds and different antelope. Many more animals than some friends have seen on longer safaris, and very close up viewing. The staff were knowledgeable and obviously enthusiastic about the lodge and the park. Good food and it was nice to share tables and chat with other guests. The visit to the Masai village was a highlight.
