Bluebay Beach Resort is situated on the finest wide, white, sandy beach on the island of Zanzibar. The Resort is on a beautiful 30-acre site with its bedroom cottages located on rising ground overlooking verdant gardens, the public areas, the pool, the more than 1,000 beautiful palm trees, the sparkling white beach and the azure seas beyond.

The hotel has a total of 112 rooms, made up of the following categories: 6 garden rooms, 74 superior rooms, 24 club24 rooms, 6 junior suites and 2 sultan suites. Each room includes a separate dressing room, en suite bathroom and a verandah or balcony.

The 3 Serena lodges we stayed in were comfortable with good views from the balconies and there was a good variety of food, even for vegetarians. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our driver Makondi was a delight, really knowledgeable, charming and a great driver.
