Day 1 - 4:

Arrive Lusaka and fly by light aircraft to the South Luangwa National Park where you will be met and transferred to Tena Tena bush camp. This remote and small camp lies within the National Park and enjoys a stunning location on a sweeping bend of the Luangwa River. A grove of mahogany trees shade the large custom-made tents. From the thatched dining room and bar, guests can watch the elephants, hippo and antelope on the riverbank.

During your stay at Tena Tena is a chance to visit the spectacular lagoon, Buca Buca, where a whole morning can be spent quietly sitting while the game comes down to feed and drink. Being remote and so small, you will have these scenes to yourself. Or you may decide, depending on the heat and time of year, to explore the Nsefu Sector of the National Park possibly with an all day picnic drive to the salt pans that will cover different habitats and is an exceptional day's safari.

4 x Overnights at Tena Tena Camp (Fully Inclusive)
Day 5 - 7:

Fly by light aircraft to the Lower Zambezi National Park where you will be met and transferred to Chiawa Camp. Resting peacefully on the banks of the Zambezi River, under a grove of evergreen Mahogany trees, Chiawa Camp holds the prime position in the heart of Zambia's Lower Zambezi National Park.

During your stay at Chiawa you can partake in a variety of activities including game drives, bush walks, river safaris, canoeing and fishing. In the heat of the day take a dip in the refreshing plunge pool, complete with sundeck.

Chiawa has three Superior Safari Tents and these offer Africa's very finest tented accommodation. These 'tents' set a new standard for Zambia in bush-luxury; however they still retain the rustic and unpretentious feel that Chiawa is so well loved for. Chiawa's Superior Safari Tent is an ideal, romantic retreat for Honeymoon couples, for those celebrating special occasions, or for those who simply want to experience Zambia's finest tented safari accommodation!
