Day 1:

On arrival into Livingstone you will be met and transferred by road to Tongabezi Lodge. Set on a wide bend in the Zambezi River this camp has been described as one of the most romantic in Africa.

Livingstone is the home of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park or Smoke that Thunders National Park and the famous Victoria Falls. Enjoy your next three days taking in the falls, and enjoying boat cruises up the mighty Zambezi. Perhaps take in a helicopter ride or for the more adventurous there is white water rafting, horse riding or even bungi jumping! There are a host of adrenalin activities on offer in the area but do save time to enjoy the tranquillity around camp.

Your last dinner in Africa will be truly memorable. Your candlelit table for two will be set up on a platform floating in the river, you will be boated out and left alone interrupted only by the waiters occasionally paddling out the next course. You will marvel at the tranquillity and the stars above, memories of the trip will leave you with no choice other than to start planning your return

Day 3 - 6:

Today you will be flown in a light aircraft via Lusaka to the Lower Zambezi National Park. On arrival at you will be met and transferred to the camp. Sausage Tree camp is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, at the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia. This exclusive safari camp, featured on the BBC's Holiday Ten Best programme, specializes in affording you our guests the very best game viewing, with traditional safari style. The Camp offers a large range of game-viewing activities including: game-drives (both day and night), walking safaris, canoeing, boating and fishing for the world-renowned "Tiger fish". Fly-fishing, bait and spinning are the three most successful methods of fishing the lodge practices. With personalized guiding, guests decide exactly what activity they would like to take and when.

Day 7:

Today you will return to Lusaka to connect with your onward international flight

Notes

At Kasaka River Lodge for the under 12s, the lodge prefers Mum to sleep with one child in one tent and Dad to sleep with the other child in the other tent. If this does not suit, there are other options for families known as the Acacia Suite and Hippo Pod which are safari houses. We can easily quote for these if you would prefer this option.
