Breezes Beach Club & Spa

Sarah Fox

As far as resorts go on Zanzibar, Breezes Beach Club & Spa one is my favourite. The property has sophistication about it that the other resorts on the island fail to achieve. The rooms are tastefully decorated as are the restaurants and general areas. The Frangipani Spa is gorgeous. This is perfect for honeymooners or those looking for a romantic getaway. I don't think Breezes suits families with young children. Bear in mind that the large majority of rooms do not have a sea view, only a garden view. But I doubt this will disappoint most when they see the facilities on offer at the resort. Breezes has always come highly recommended by our guests and it is one of our favourites for honeymooners.

Customer Reviews of the Breezes Beach Club

Honeymoon to Tanzania and Kenya during October 2011

Breezes was an absolute paradise location with a resort to match. The beautifully made main buildings were so luxurious even though they were so simply constructed. The selection of bars and restaurants were perfect for our requirements and the variety of food on offer was amazing while quality remained superb throughout. The rooms were fantastically well maintained and more than suited our needs while the facilities in the resort were excellent and very professionally managed. I would recommend the Sultan's Bath to anyone!

Honeymoon to Kenya and Tanzania during September 2011

Relaxing and stress free location, Staff were again excellent and very friendly. However we thought that management were too visible and appeared to be continuously "patrolling" the resort

Holiday to South Africa during February 2011

South Africa Review

We have been to South Africa before in February/March when it is the depths of winter in the UK. Envigorating to get away from our dismal weather and the South Africans we have met have always made us welcome. Where we have been, we have alway felt safe although we have clearly avoided the townships...
