I was very impressed with this lodge. It avoids a cheesy 'resorty' feel but still provides all of the facilities one would expect of a large resort. I think it would suit couples and families alike. The rooms are lovely and the general areas are beautiful in their Zanzibari design. With its ideal location this lodge particularly suits divers.

Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel is situated on the northernmost peninsula of Zanzibar Island and overlooks a sparkling expanse of iridescent Indian Ocean. The lush gardens drop down onto one of the finest and most unspoilt beaches on the island, which in turn is fringed by a wide and thriving coral reef. Holiday to Botswana and Zimbabwe during May 2011

Zimbabwe Review

Seeing only Victoria Falls (the town and the falls) doesn't tell a traveler much about the country itself. The town is not at all representative of the rest of the country. While the falls themselves are well worth seeing, the political oppression that has racked the country and ruined its economy...
