The comfortable mobile tents of Chobe under Canvas offer guests the chance to get as close as possible to Chobe's vast wildlife herds by relocating every five or six days to carefully selected positions. Home to a variety of big game, Chobe is particularly well known for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, as well as the two antelope that cannot be encountered anywhere else in Botswana, the puku and Chobe bushbuck.
Five well-appointed walk in tents accommodating a maximum of ten guests are furnished with comfortable beds, a hanging rail, canvas wardrobe and luggage chest. The en-suite bathroom is complete with flush toilet and bucket shower.
A marquee-style tent forms the main area where delicious meals are enjoyed as a group around a long, lantern-lit table. There is also a small 'bar' table holding a selection of drinks, a small reference library and a selection of board games.
Chobe Under Canvas is approximately a 30-minute transfer by game vehicle from the town of Kasane, although stops are made for wildlife sightings on the way.
Twice daily game drives and Chobe river cruises.

Rustic glamping, hosted by a great crew of attentive people. Loved the welcoming songs every time we returned to camp.
