Found in the famous Okavango Delta, Gunn's Camp is surrounded by waterways rich in game and owns a wonderful old world safari ambience, perhaps derived from its long history as one of the Delta's oldest camps. The property is located on the banks of the Boro River and is excellently positioned for a number of activities and incredible game viewing, with Moremi Game Reserve and Chiefs Island bordering the camp.
Boasting distinctive African style, the 6 traditional meru safari tents are very comfortable, colourful and well furnished. Rooms are private and ideal for intimacy, with a quaint veranda and a relaxing lounge area. As such, the camp is an excellent choice for honeymooners or for those just wishing to escape life's everyday bustle. En-suite bathrooms are well-appointed and romantic, with outdoor showers and baths.
The main guest area offers impeccable views of the surrounding area and a number of facilities. Guests can expect a swimming pool, a lounge, library area and a dining room. At night, walking to the main area from your room can be quite a dreamy experience, with charming wooden walkways strung across the wetlands, all dimly lit by lanterns. A number of activities are available from camp, including bush walks and camping on an island, which reached by traditional dug-out canoe, called a mokoro.
A 20 minute flight from Maun to the private airstrip on Ntswi Island.
Mokoro (dug-out canoe) rides, bush walks, island camping and motor boat sunset cruises.

Review of Gunn's Camp
Really loved this camp despite the fact that there was very little water. They had brought in safari vehicles wo we could do game drives. The guides were really knowledgable. Made a special effort to provide non-gluten foods to Linda. Saw a leopard!
Probably a gorgeous camp in its hey day!!! Loved the walkways & the ambience of being right in the delta. Needs updating!!!!
