Located in the western boundary of the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, Kings Pool Camp has a vast private concession all to itself. This premier camp overlooks the Linyanti River and the oxbow-shaped Kings Pool Lagoon. The Linyanti area has a large wildlife resource with a wide variety of species, but it is most noted for its very large elephant population, which can reach enormous densities during the dry winter months. Other game include impala, lechwe, kudu, zebra, giraffe, buffalo and bushbuck, as well as the predators, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena.
Kings Pool Camp offers nine tents, including 1 family unit, of canvas and thatch. Each room offers a large bedroom area, lounge, private plunge pool and sala as well as an outdoor shower. The communal area encompasses a lounge, dining room and bar area is on expansive raised decks. There is also a communal pool and an open-air kgotla for dining under the stars.
By Air: Kings Pool Camp is an approximately 45 minute flight from Maun and 45 minute flight to Kasane. The camp is a 5 minute drive from the airstrip.
Game drives, walking safaris and hides for game viewing.

Absolutely beautiful and very chic. Loved the plunge pool and the little gazebo perched over the reeds (oh to be young again, it was so romantic), the views across the Pool, the evening boat trip on 'Queen Sylvia', all the staff and guide Ndebo were excellent and always good-humoured and charming. The meals were a real treat - stylish choices.Exciting sightings of all kinds of game. Bliss: I…
I would give it a Good++ because it had an ambience that Vumbura Plains lacked. I liked the bedroom/sitting area but having the dressing room right inside the front door....where there was no inside latch....made it a little unnerving.
