Re-opening in September 2019, Kwara Camp is being renovated to highlight the surrounding nature and create a luxurious safari experience. Situated on the edge of the permanent waters of the world renowned Okavango Delta in Botswana, Kwara shares a common boundary with Moremi Game Reserve. Due to the specific location of the camp, Kwara is able to offer power boating, mokoro (dugout canoe) trips, walks and game drives - all year round. The spectacular scenery with scattered herds of plains game and the ever-attendant predators helps to enhance your safari. Due to the labyrinth of waterways, islands, seasonal flood plains and bush, Kwara is always interesting and varied.
Kwara Camp offers 9 tents with decks overlooking the surrounding plains and lagoon. Each tent has its own en-suite bathroom facilities, furnished with a bath and an inside/outside shower, and will come complete with mosquito netting and a ceiling fan to keep the hot afternoons at bay.
Kwara Camp is an approximately 45 minute flight from Maun and 50 minute flight to Kasane. The camp is a short drive from the airstrip.
Mokoro trips, boat cruises, guided walks and game drives both day and night, bird watching. Fishing is also offered on request.

Review of Kwara Camp
Our first Safari!! We were treated like royalty! Staff was authentic and so very gracious and accommodating. The food was delicious and served perfectly. Attention to dietary restrictions was perfect!
The camp and rooms were just beautiful...so pristine and modern! If I ever were to return to Africa, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Kwara. Our guide, George, and tracker, KT were very informative, knowledgable,…
The wildlife really comes to you at Kwara. We had impala, squirrels, warthogs, elephant and baboon wandering around the camp - not to mention the birds. As in Lagoon camp the guides, staff and food were all absolutely top class.
