Kwara Camp overlooks a secluded lagoon in the northern part of Botswana's Okavango Delta and shares a common boundary with Moremi Game Reserve. With access to the permanent waterways of the Delta as well as expansive dry land areas, Kwara is able to offer boating, mokoro (dugout canoe) trips, walks and game drives - all year round.
Kwara Camp offers 9 canvas tents, each with a spacious deck overlooking the lagoon, an ensuite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers and a gorgeous bath - all of which have views out to the floodplains. The main area of the camp has a dining area, lounge and curio shop. It also has 2 small pool areas at each end of the camp. Each poolside has a small bar and pool loungers for you to enjoy the afternoon siesta period.
In the area there are consistent sightings of predators, including lion, cheetah and leopard. Herds of elephants also frequent the area, as well as giraffe, zebra, sitatunga, lechwe, impala and hippos.
Kwara Camp is an approximately 45 minute flight from Maun and 50 minute flight to Kasane. The camp is a short drive from the airstrip.
Mokoro trips, boat cruises, guided walks and game drives both day and night, bird watching. Fishing is also offered on request.
