Found in the heart of the Okavango Delta, Moremi Crossing is a luxury tented camp found on a small island and surrounded by the Delta's famous floodplains. Holding a charming sense of simple rusticity, the camp employs numerous eco policies to reduce its footprint on the landscape; making use of a giant solar panel for power. Offering excellent views across the plains and overlooking Chief's Island, Moremi is the ideal base from which to explore the world's largest inland Delta.
Guests can expect 16 meru style tents all of which feature en-suite bathrooms with a shower and a toilet. The tents are built on a raised platform and as such take great advantage of the view, looking out over the Boro River from spacious decks. Families and honeymooners are accommodated for with special tents set aside for each.
The main guest area is airy and built over several levels. Guests can expect a quaint thatch roof over the dining room where guests can indulge in delicious cuisine and relax with a cocktail at the bar. To cool off out of the warm African sun the pool is always welcome and a small souvenir shop is on offer to take home a reminder of the trip. Activities in the area are excellent, with strong guiding and sundowner cruises along the waterways.
