Pom Pom Camp is located on Pom Pom Island in a private concession situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The camp offers superb Okavango scenery and a true Okavango wilderness experience. During a stay one can expect to see animals such as elephant, giraffe, hippo, lion, cheetah, leopard, wild dog and many more. Pom Pom is also a bird-watcher's paradise.
Accommodation at the camp consists of 9 luxury walk-in tents (including 1 family safari tent) in true traditional safari style, all with full en-suite showers, flush toilets and although roofless, the bathrooms are enclosed for privacy and security. The tents all overlook the Pom Pom lagoon.
The attractively designed main building is constructed of thatch and canvas and comprises lounge, dining, bar and pool areas, as well as a gift shop and the boma area. There is also a swimming pool providing a perfect location to enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the heat of the day.

Great food including non-gluten. Loved the sundowner part of each day sipping gin and tonic while watching the sun go down.
Loved the fact it was in a private concession so we could go off road and track lions (unsuccessfully) and a rhino (found him). From a game viewing it was the best (male lion, male leopard, wild dogs (two different packs), etc.
