With a name meaning "the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water", Qorokwe Camp is located within an area of the Okavango densely populated by game. Its south-eastern location within the Okavango allows for a diverse range of wildlife viewing opportunities, while staying in one of the Camp's nine beautiful tented suites.
Opened in 2017, Qorokwe Camp has nine private tented suites, one of these being a family tent complete with its own pool. Each tent includes a ensuite, outdoor shower. The main area of the camp includes a lounge, library, bar and dining area, and an infinity pool overlooking a hippo-rich lagoon. Connected by walkways, the main area is built entirely on raised wooden platforms. Some of Qorokwe's amazing dining experiences include outdoor dining around the fire and delicious pizzas made fresh.
Guests at Qorokwe Camp can look forward to a plethora of outdoor activities. Guests are told to look out for the elusive white rhino as well as an increased number of large predators while on safari. The Qorokwe Concession where the camp is located offers water sources year round, ensuring prime game viewing at all times of year.
The camp is located a short 20 minute charter flight from the Maun Airport.
Games drives, both day and night, and birding. Game walks and mokoro experiences are both offered seasonally.
