This place was a great start to our safari - the national park was obviously open to more people but we got to see 4 of the big 5 in one day here. We had the best guide 'Letts' of all our safaris here - so knowledgable, alert, humorous and a legend amongst his peers for sure.
We rate Chobe Chilwero 4 stars. The game drives on land were not permitted to go off-road given it is a national park. After being spoiled by Thornybush, we realized how difficult it is to track game when you can't go off-road - and how lucky you have to be to see some animals (lions and leopards). We were very lucky to see the big five there…
