Set against the backdrop of ancient riverine forest in the stunning Okavango Delta, Seba Camp is a wonderful family friendly property that affords incredible wildlife sightings and dedicated service. The camp overlooks a perennial lagoon, often frequented by hippo and home to an array of birdlife, allowing guests to relax and enjoy casual game viewing from their rooms. The camp takes the name Seba from an elephant that was released back into the wild from nearby Abu Camp. With numerous elephants since released into the wild, guests can join the researchers currently studying their interactions with wild herds and get up close to the largest land animal on earth.
There are 8 tented rooms in total, raised off the ground and featuring canvas walls and wooden floors. Guests have a choice of 6 standard tents and 2 tents specifically designed for families. Standard tents feature twin beds, are well furnished and are quiet spacious. Both family rooms feature a plunge pool and children's games, although one is larger with 3 bedrooms and the other 2.
Providing excellent views, the main area of the camp consists of a lounge, bar and dining area, with the delicious meals served al fresco when possible. There is also a swimming pool on offer, ideal for relaxing between game drives.
Seba Camp is a 30 minute flight from Maun and 1 hr 30 flight to Kasane. The camp is a short drive from the airstrip.
