Duba Explorers Camp is found in the 77,000-hectare Duba Plains Private Reserve in Botswana's Okavango Delta. The camp's location is one that offers extraordinary wildlife experiences including large herds of elephants and buffalo, lions, leopards, and hyenas in large numbers as well as hippo, lechwe, kudu, tsessebe, and giraffe, to name a few.
You can expect only 5 tents, all of which offer comfortable accommodation with wooden floors, large beds, and en-suite bathrooms, complemented by an apt rusticity. The tents are raised on wooden platforms and offer charming verandas from which to view game. The Camp provides a number of facilities including a swimming pool, a cosy lounge, and a dining room. Activities consist of game drives, guided walks, and seasonal mokoro (dug-out canoe) rides and boat trips. Guiding is strong and guests are invited to track large buffalo herds in the hopes of spotting lions stalking their prey nearby. Night drives offer an exciting dimension to game viewing, one that can be a true highlight of a stay here.
