Machaba Camp is located in the game-rich Khwai Concession, a 35 000 hectare reserve situated in the northeastern Okavango adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve. Cats and other predators such as hyenas are prolific in the area and due to the permanent water surrounding the camp, outstanding birdlife adds an extra dimension to your wildlife viewing. Hippos are abundant and you can expect to fall asleep to the sound of them wallowing nearby.
The camp has a classic 1950's style, with 10 luxury safari tents, including 2 family tents. All the tents are situated on ground level and the pathways to the tents meander between the large riverine trees. Within the main area of the camp, you can enjoy both European-style buffets and fireside dining with a view of the nearby river. The camp also offers a pool area and spa treatments to help you to unwind.

A beautiful old-world-type safari lodge. A fantastic setting on the river with amazing game viewing and outdoor dining experiences each night. Great staff and meals and a wonderful atmosphere. The tented lodge was stunning with so many details that made the place perfect. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make it special for all the guests. We enjoyed a bush dinner as well as a bush picnic - even with a portable bar! An amazing place to spend our honeymoon.
Outstanding accommodation, with lots of lovely little touches (for instance the goodie bag for our son). Our family tent was huge and very comfortable and the bar, lounge, restaurant was luxurious.
