Tubu Tree Camp is a classic-style tented camp ideally situated on the western edge of the Okavango Delta’s Hunda Island. The camp has views over – and access to – the floodplains dotted with water-loving wildlife from one side, and instant access to the big game viewing on the other. Hunda Island is an area frequented by predators, particularly wild dogs, leopards, and hyenas. The camp’s tents are set in the tree canopy on raised decks, with a view of the open, grassy floodplain in front.
The 7 luxury canvas tents all have verandas to enjoy the view and the family unit has 2 adjoining tents, separate bathrooms, and a shared lounge. The main area’s famous bar is shaded under the spreading boughs of a marula tree and the pool deck with loungers affords uninterrupted views over the ever-changing plain. Activities include day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles as well as walking safaris with an armed ranger. During the winter months, with the water levels rising, you can enjoy motorboat and canoe safaris as well as fishing trips.

We felt the place looked tired and needed a revamp.. We felt the lady game range TJ to be a bit condescending but overall we had a lovely trip. Management and staff particularly Cristelle and her team were fantastic!
