Savute Safari Lodge is a 12-room lodge that overlooks the famous Savuti Chanel which feeds the Savuti Marsh from the Linyanti River. The region has incredible game viewing opportunities, its rich ecosystem supports large concentrations of elephant and predators such as lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, and wild dogs. During the summer months the awe-inspiring spectacle of the zebra migration attracts even more predators. The lodge particularly suits those guests wanting to be really close to nature.
The chalets at the lodge are built of timber and have been elegantly furnished in calm, neutral tones to blend with the natural environment. They all feature expansive private decks and combine a bedroom and lounge area. The lodge’s other facilities are situated in a beautiful 2-story thatch and timber main building. There’s a shaded viewing deck, an al fresco dining area and swimming pool with loungers. This is an ideal spot for watching the wildlife including resident elephants as they make their way to the Channel to drink, bathe and play.
