Situated in Southern Africa, Botswana is a landlocked country and as close to safari perfection as you can get. With a subtropical desert climate, Botswana has great differences between its day and night temperatures, with low humidity generally.
Botswana has Winter and Summer seasons at opposite times of the year to Europe and North America. With almost no rain for 6 months of the year, the Winter/ dry season in Botswana is from May to October. The wettest months are during the Summer in December to March, with rains moving in from November to December and back out during March and April.
