Many families like the idea of an all-inclusive holiday without the worry that every drink or ice-cream your child consumes will go onto an ever-increasing end-of-stay bill. There are a variety of all-inclusive accommodations on offer for safaris in Africa and family beach holidays in the Indian Ocean.
Family safaris, due to the remote location of most safari lodges and camps, almost always offer a full board meal basis in that they all will include 3 meals a day as standard. Many more will extend this to include drinks as well, although this obviously increases the cost.
The wildlife activities are also usually included in the nightly cost. These normally involve twice daily game drives and where appropriate boat trips and walks. In some cases additional activities such as balloon safaris, fishing and canoeing are offered (age-appropriate) but these are at an additional cost and often need pre-booked.
All Mahlatini family safari itineraries will include park and conversation fees upfront unless indicated specifically so there are no hidden costs. The only expenses your family will likely incur on an all-inclusive safari would be to tip local staff and guides and to pay for any purchases made in the safari shop.
Beach holidays in the Indian Ocean can also be all-inclusive. A number of resorts and hotels will be all-inclusive only or offer the option as an upgrade. These packages of meals and drinks can extend to also including day trips, various resort activities as well as spa treatments.
