In short, you can travel anywhere with children and travel is an incredible learning experience. However, there are definitely destinations, areas and properties that are more family-friendly and even those that specialise in creating wonderful experiences for kids. Our Travel Experts are on-hand to help guide you through travelling with your kids, many of them with personal knowledge.
How to travel with kids?
Planning ahead of time is vital when travelling with kids, this way everything has the best chance of running smoothly. Planning ahead allows both parents and children to have the best experience and minimise any stress, allowing you to be full present and enjoy time together in a new place. Consider details such as what time of day is best to fly to coincide with sleep schedules, factoring in potential jet-lag and rest days, and properties which offer specialised activities for kids or baby-sitting services
Can I bring my kids on an African safari?
Many luxury, conservation safari camps and lodges have minimum ages in place, but some specialise in catering to families with younger children. Our Travel Experts know the best lodges and camps to ensure an incredible family safari experience for all ages.
