Snow Leopard Lodge operates as a focused base for tracking snow leopards and other high-altitude wildlife across the Ulley Valley. The lodge combines simplicity with essential comforts, including centrally heated spaces, ensuite or well-equipped rooms, and reliable hot water provisions designed for extreme conditions. Accommodation is limited, with approximately 10 twin-bedded ensuite rooms at Ulley Lodge, ensuring a small, like-minded group dynamic.
Days are shaped around expert-led tracking, using a network of local spotters, high-quality optics, and deep knowledge of animal behaviour to maximise sightings. Alongside snow leopards, expect encounters with ibex, Tibetan wolves, Himalayan foxes, and a range of high-altitude birdlife.
Dining is communal and rooted in regional ingredients, with Indian, Ladakhi, and international dishes served in a shared lounge and dining space overlooking the valley.
