Ambady Estate

Located in the Western Ghats, Ambady Estate is 70 acres of beautiful land surrounded by the Parvathy Hills and Sahya rainforest. Ideal for nature lovers, the cardamom plantation is a peaceful retreat, home to diverse and indigenous flora and fauna. Offering only 4 colonial style cottages, it’s a tranquil spot from which to enjoy nature walks and beautiful views.

The cottages each consist of a spacious bedroom with an attached living area and private garden. The restaurant offers meals featuring the vivid flavours of locally grown organic vegetables and herbs. It serves a choice of delicacies including Western, Indian and Oriental. Activities are nature-based, you can trek through the cardamom plantation under the shade of a variety of evergreen tree. Look out for a host of birdlife and wildlife. Macaques, forest squirrels, Malabar giant squirrels, flying squirrels and barking deer can be seen inside the plantation. There’s also the option of a jeep safari, cooking demonstration, a guided hike and farm experience.
