Evolve Back Kuruba Safari Lodge in the Kabini region is set on the banks of the Kabini River and is flanked by two tiger reserves Nagarhole and Bandipur. It’s a picturesque luxury resort of sweeping panoramic vistas, characterised by traditional craft and modern luxury. The lodge offers boat safaris on the Kabini River, jungle safaris deep into the Nagarhole forest, night walks and tribal dance performances.

The lodge spreads across 15 acres and its design is inspired by the Hadis or tribal villages featuring med walls and thatched roofs that blend into the natural landscape. There are 3 room categories, Pool Reserve, Pool Hut (both with private pools) and Safari Hut (with shallow water-jet pool in the courtyard). There are 2 restaurants with far-flung river views, while a 3rd dining option is dinner onboard a candle-lit cruise on the River Kabini. For relaxation there’s the infinity pool at the lake’s edge, one of the best places to catch glorious sunsets, and a second communal pool with child-safe zones. The spa features two large treatments rooms and offers Ayruveda healing and rejuvenating therapies. If you wish to discover nature around the property naturalist-led walks are on offer, and nocturnal nature lovers can opt for the adventurous Night Trails. Evening activities include documentaries on wildlife as well as Kuruba tribal dance performances around a blazing campfire.  There is also a sundowner deck overlooking the river where you can retreat and relax with delicious cocktails after a day in the wild.
