The villas at Philipkutty’s Farm are spacious and perfectly positioned to face the tranquil backwaters. Furnished with antiques and adorned with locally hand-carved wooden doors and windows, the villas also boast red-tiled floors typical of the region. Each accommodation includes an en-suite bathroom and a wrap-around veranda, and they are cooled by fans to enhance comfort. The farm itself produces a variety of organically grown fruits, vegetables, and spices that, along with fresh fish and prawns, are used to create meals inspired by the family’s Syrian Christian heritage. For cooking enthusiasts, classes are available. Activities at Philipkutty’s Farm are delightfully relaxed but always engaging. A member of the family can take you on a guided tour of the farm. You can also explore the local village on a bicycle, visit nearby markets and temples, take a sunset cruise to watch the birdlife, practice yoga, or unwind with a massage or treatment at the neighboring Ayurvedic center. Alternatively, simply settle onto your veranda and watch life on the backwaters gently unfold before you.
