Diphlu River Lodge

Diphlu River Lodge is located on the edge of Kaziranga National Park and features 12 cottages crafted from local materials such as bamboo and wood. Notable past guests include Prince William and Kate Middleton. In addition to safari activities within the park, the lodge offers opportunities for village visits, elephant bathing, and excursions to nearby tea estates.

While rustic in design, the cottages at Diphlu River Lodge provide a high level of comfort, featuring modern amenities such as air conditioning and WiFi. Four of the twelve cottages offer river views, while the others overlook picturesque paddy fields. Folding glass doors lead to spacious verandas with cane chairs, creating an ideal spot for enjoying a cup of tea or a refreshing gin and tonic. The main communal area, known as the machan (jungle platform), is a fantastic place to relax and scan the riverbank for wildlife. Meals and drinks from the bar are also served here. Various relaxation areas, including a riverside deck, enhance the experience. The small Lahe spa provides exceptional treatments, perfect for a post-safari massage. With superb service, delicious food, incredible wildlife encounters, and a strong focus on sustainability, Diphlu River Lodge is a remarkable retreat.
