Flame of the Forest Lodge features just four charming cottages scattered among mahua trees, alongside the Banjar River. This romantic setting exudes a magical ambiance, while maintaining a simple charm, it is beautifully furnished and adorned with local artistic details. Accommodating a maximum of eight visitors, the emphasis is on a personalised and flexible service.
Each of the traditional-style cottages features its own courtyard and veranda overlooking the river, complete with a daybed that invites relaxation while you soak in the sounds of nature. The interiors, with their whitewashed walls and stone floors, complemented by carefully selected furniture, create a tranquil atmosphere. The king-sized bed offers views of the natural surroundings through large windows, and the bathrooms are equipped with both outdoor and indoor showers. Dining at Flame of the Forest is a communal experience where stories of the day’s safari encounters are shared. Meals begin around the campfire with drinks and light snacks, followed by dinner served outdoors at a spacious timber table. Private dining options can also be arranged in spectacular locations. In addition to jeep safaris in the national park, there is cycling and trekking, as well as cultural walks through nearby villages. The lodge also features a spa, providing yoga and Ayurvedic treatments.
