Discover Svasara Jungle Lodge

Svasara Jungle Lodge is the premier lodge in the region, located just a short distance from Tadoba National Park, which is celebrated as one of the best places in the country to observe Bengal tigers up close. This conservation-focused wilderness lodge offers a comfortable and immersive jungle safari experience. Set within ten acres of forest, Svasara — meaning "nest" in Sanskrit — strives to create a harmonious sanctuary within its natural setting. The lodge's dedicated naturalist team and management are friendly, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about wildlife conservation.

The accommodation consists of just 12 spacious and comfortably furnished suites. Surrounded by acres of untouched forest, each suite is equipped with modern comforts and amenities. Lunch is served in the dining room, while dinner takes place in the outdoor “Teakhouse,” complete with a cosy bonfire. On most evenings feature slide shows and films are presented here just before dinner. The food is delicious, primarily prepared with local ingredients (please note that Tadoba is a dry state, so no alcohol can be served). There is a small swimming pool in the gardens, perfect for a refreshing dip after a morning of activities. Expert naturalists will take you on jeep safaris to explore the reserve, where you have a good chance of spotting tigers, wild dogs, sloth bears, gaur, sambar, and around 200 species of birds.
