Waghoba Eco Lodge

Set on 12 acres of rewilded land bordering the Tadoba National Park, Waghoba Eco Lodge is an eco- lodge featuring 12 sustainably built cottages. The lodge is the perfect base from which to explore Tadoba National Park on thrilling jeep safaris, walks and boat trips in search of tigers, leopards and other wildlife.

Each of the cottages has been built using adobe earth bricks and traditional designs. Wastewater is naturally purified using a plant-based solution, rainwater is harvested and there is an active rewilding programme on site.  The cottages have lovely, vaulted ceilings to keep them cool in the summer heat and the interiors are decorated in a relaxed, simple style, featuring teak furniture and tiled floors. They all have a private sit-out with loungers and a roomy bathroom. The main lodge has a well-stocked library, lounge, a swimming pool and a lake-facing hide for bird photography. Waghoba Eco Lodge serves local, traditional, authentic cuisine in the restaurant. If it’s a special occasion, al fresco dinners are also set up at the deck area and by the poolside. The lodge’s focus has been on growing local organic produce, reviving age-old culinary traditions and recreating rustic regional cuisine with a sustainable perspective.
