Oberoi Vanyavilas

Located just outside Ranthambore National Park, The Oberoi Vanyavilas Wildlife Resort is a luxurious tented lodge set amidst 20 acres of lush gardens and forest. Its 25 air-conditioned tents, inspired by the royal tents in travelling caravans of historic Rajasthan, provide an ideal retreat to relax after an exciting day of tiger spotting in the national park.

The luxury tents with finely embroidered canopies are particularly spacious and feature a king-size bed, large writing desk, plush armchairs, a claw-footed standalone bathtub and teak wooden floors. Outside a private walled garden and sundeck offers an elevated degree of privacy. International fare and Rajasthani cuisine is served in the dining room, with painted walls and high chandeliers, or in the delightful lamp-lit Alfresco Bar, with live Rajasthani musicians. The lawned gardens are scattered with ponds, floating with waterlilies. Days revolve around game drives into Ranthambore National Park, there’s also the option of boat rides down the Chambal River, to spot Gharial crocodiles, or visiting Ranthambore Fort, home to one of India’s oldest Ganesha temples. For relaxation head to the spa, relax by the pool or enjoy a private yoga session.
