SUJÁN The Serai

Drawing design inspiration from the royal caravan sites of Rajputana, SUJÁN The Serai is tented luxury in the desert. An oasis of calm, the camp sits on a 100-acre private estate of indigenous desert scrub and is the perfect locale from which to explore the famed golden fortress. A stay here is a retreat with its luxury spa treatments and evenings spent under the vast expanse of the desert sky entertained by traditional musicians.

SUJÁN The Serai features a contemporary and elegant design. There are 21 tents and suites in total, 6 of which are luxury tented suites with their own private walled-in gardens and sunken, heated dip pools with Jacuzzi jets. The exclusive royal tented suite comes with its own spa, outdoor pool and dining and lounge tents. Crafts and textiles are woven into the whole property through carpets and turbans, throws and cushions, contrasting the vivid colours of Rajasthan with the stark terrain of the desert. Sumptuous local and western delicacies are served in the dining tent or anywhere on site. The spa comprises of 4 tents and offers a diverse menu of therapies. There are also daily yoga and meditation classes to enjoy. The largest attraction in the area is the Jaisalmer Fort, a living medieval city within the fortifications and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
