Found on the edge of the Volcanoes National Park, the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge boasts incredible views. Surrounded by a thriving ecosystem, the highlight of this lodge is its close proximity to the Virunga Mountains and the Volcanoes National Park where guests can trek on foot to see the mountain gorillas, the golden monkeys and all manner of other animals and birdlife endemic to these forests.
Small and exclusive, the lodge possesses 2 well-appointed suites, 5 double cottages and for families a separate suite. The accommodation is of stone construction and features large comfortable interiors. The main area of the lodge boasts 3 cozy fireplaces, a snug sitting room and a dining room and bar. From 2 patios you are treated to incredible views of the surrounding landscape and the towering Virunga Volcanoes.

Given the location, simply excellent is every aspect. The only comment we would make is to ensure that elderly or disabled clients are aware of the access - which is on foot up many steps (100+ steps)
Sabyinyo's staff were extraordinarily attentive and helpful.
