Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge is nestled in one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations, and is the perfect place to relax before or after a safari. The lodge is on the outskirts of Arusha, which is only a 5 minute drive away, providing you plenty to do should you wish to venture into town.
Reminiscent of traditional plantation houses, the 30 wooden chalets with spacious, airy and modern interiors are nestled amongst the surrounding gardens and coffee trees. The hotel provides lunch in buffet style and dinner is served in the Plantation House restaurant with an 'a la carte' menu that presents dishes with a European influence with a hint of African flair. You can also enjoy the swimming pool and the lodge bar, and take in the quaint surrounds of the lavender and coffee bushes and the landscaped gardens.

Honeymoon to Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge
We didn't love Arusha. Perhaps it was the shock of jet-lag, or perhaps it was the volume of mosquito bites we both got (even while wearing bug spray and mosquito repellent bands). The food was just OK. But I do have to say our room was lovely and the bed was quite comfortable.
Arusha Coffee lodge was the perfect place to begin our Honeymoon. The grounds were so gorgeous and serene. We were able to relax and fight off our Jet Lag before starting our safari adventure.
