Paraa Safari Lodge is a beautiful property that overlooks the world's longest river: the mighty Nile. Placed between the river's source at Lake Victoria and its next stop at Lake Albert, Paraa Safari Lodge offers the chance to witness the majesty of the Nile thundering through a gorge in the rock 6 meters wide before plunging some 141ft below to create the mighty Murchison Falls. With the lodge located in the Murchison Falls National Park it is the only place to see all Big 5. The ecosystems here are varied and colorful and lend to an amazing opportunity for bird watchers with over 451 species found in the area.
The lodge itself is well-appointed with a total of 54 warm and inviting rooms with a choice of classic rooms, superior rooms, safari tents or a cottage. In the lodge's main area, you can expect delicious cuisine from the Captain's Table restaurant, with an array of international and local fare on offer. Enjoy a variety of activities from exhilarating safari drives to boat trips along the River Nile, ending at the foot of Murchison Falls.

Adventure Holiday to Paraa Safari Lodge
The lodge was very nice especially the bar area and the restaurant. We felt it was a little too "hotel" style for us, and we ended up in a room with very noisy neighbors yelling non stop. We didn't complain, or ask to be moved and that is on us, as I am sure we would have been moved.
Uninspiring decor, motel-like layout, dated furnishings, and lackluster service meant that the only thing going for this lodge was its location. And I don't want to understate that the location was excellent in that the lodge is on the side of the Nile that permits game drive departures and returns…
Staff was nice and the Room as well.
Due the Christmas Season the Hotel was fully out booked and very, very loud.
I would have preferred a smaller Place with less Tourist Groups.
