This luxury fly-in itinerary combines Botswana's outstanding Okavango Delta with the Linyanti region, both of which are famous for Big Game sightings. Your time in the Okavango Delta will be split between two camps, Duba Plains and Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge. Duba Plains is ideal for the wildlife connoisseur' with literally thousands of animals in an almost endless pattern across the flood plains. It is also the area from which the famous wildlife documentary Relentless Enemies was filmed about the constant battle between lion and buffalo.
Sandible is situated in a private concession, adjacent to the Moremi Game Reserve, and offers some of the most exceptional wildlife sightings in the Okavango Delta, which you can enjoy on day and night safaris, as well as bush walks. Finally Selinda Camp, set in one of the most pristine wilderness areas left on our planet, the private 130 000 hectare Selinda Reserve in northern Botswana. Expect to see some of the classic species, such as leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, Red lechwe, zebra and giraffe, and some of the more uncommon species such as African wild dog. It is also heaven for birders.
