This is an action-packed, fly-in itinerary to explore the main wildlife viewing areas of Northern Botswana. Your time will be split between 4 very different areas beginning in the Chobe area, known for being home to the largest concentration of elephants in Southern Africa. See these amazing creatures on a boat cruise on the Chobe River or on exciting game drives where you will see the park's other residents. Move then into the Linyanti region, another area of the greater Chobe eco-system. Often described as one of the best wildlife-viewing areas in Africa today, here you can expect to see large herds of buffalo and elephant as well as the predators, lion and hyena leopard, cheetah and wild dog.
You will then fly into the Okavango Delta, a stunning maze of waterways and lagoons, teeming with wildlife. Here you will split your time between a dry camp, where the focus is on game drives, and a wet camp where you will head out on walks or mokoro rides (dug-out canoes). Accommodation throughout is in small, intimate camps where you will feel very much at one with the environment.
