On this enviable honeymoon the two of you will discover the natural wonders of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, and Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls and Zambezi River. In the Okavango Delta you will stay at Duba Plains Camp, evoking the classic African safari style of the 1920’s and surrounded by thousands of animals in an almost endless pattern across the flood plains. For your time at Victoria Falls, you will avoid the crowds and stay in the Zambezi National Park at Mpala Jena. It’s close enough to visit the Falls from but far enough away to still gain seclusion and absorb yet more wildlife around the river.
Tembo Plains Camp is the banks of the Zambezi in a private reserve of Mana Pools National Park and offers day and night wildlife-viewing drives, boating, canoeing and guided walks.
As befitting a honeymoon, the ‘tents’ are extremely luxurious with romantic features such as outdoor showers, luxurious baths, and plunge pools. The camps are small and intimate with exceptional service and guiding.
