This safari is for families who love the outdoors. It's best for slightly older children and to keep their interest, there are 3 stops in 3 vastly different wildlife regions of Tanzania's northern circuit. First up, at stay in the family tent at Little Chem Chem Camp in a private concession of the Tarangire. Aside from game drives in this beautiful park the children will learn bush skills from Maasai warriors, including how to make a fire, and use a bow and arrow. There's also the opportunity to visit local schools and villages to expose them to different cultures.
Journey then to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. Not only offering a spectacular setting, the Crater is also the best place in East Africa to see the Big 5 - rhino, elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo. Retreat for evenings at the beautiful Gibb's Farm, which also offers fun-filled farm activities. Complete the adventure at Mila Tented Camp in the Serengeti National Park offering year-round wildlife encounters, and the chance to catch the annual wildebeest migration (in season). With your own private guide and vehicle at Mila, you have complete freedom to enjoy your drives at your own pace.
