Enjoy a spacious and luxuriously-appointed villa with private pool at Raffles Seychelles along with renowned service and hospitality. Being on Praslin Island also means you are perfectly located for taking excursions to discover many of Seychelles natural wonders and attractions.
A highlight at Raffles Praslin, and sure to be a hit for the whole family, is the huge main pool - the largest infinity pool in Seychelles. Three small sandy beaches are in front of the resort, while Anse Lazio, one of the most photographed beaches in the world, is just 1.5 miles away. Kayaking and snorkelling can be done from the hotel's beaches, subject to weather conditions of course. There's a superb Kids Club with experienced staff running a daily programme of engaging and fun-filled activities for younger guests, plus a Teens Club too. An award-winning spa completes the line-up of facilities, perfect for a spot of relaxation and pampering for mum and dad.
Praslin Island gives excellent excursion opportunities including to the Vallee de Mai tropical forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Day-trips to nearby La Digue are also highly recommended; this island is very much how Seychelles used to be and with hardly any cars, the main form of transport is bicycle! For a memorable family day out, pack a picnic, then hire bikes at the boat jetty on La Digue and cycle the leafy lanes to discover vast sandy beaches. Another excellent excursion is to Curieuse Island, immediately across the water from the hotel; uninhabited and now a nature reserve, giant Aldabra tortoises roam free! If you don't fancy this trip, but still want to see tortoises close up, Raffles has several of these fascinating creatures; ask the kitchen staff for some old fruit and head down to the pen to give them their breakfast!
Raffles Seychelles is now plastic free and guests are each provided with a stainless steel water bottle instead of plastic bottles that they can refill with local drinking water. 70% of energy is from solar power with 80% of food sourced locally for the resort's excellent dining options.
