A Namibia honeymoon where you’ll swap 4 wheels (almost) for 2 wings, and travel across Namibia on a series of short flights, visiting the incredible Sossusvlei dunes, the desolate Skeleton Coast and wildlife haven of Etosha. It’s going to be difficult to choose a highlight. Your first 2 nights on the flying safari will be at Kwessi Dunes where you will wake up at dawn and climb the blood-red sand dunes at Sossusvlei. Sleep under the desert stars in the ‘stargazer’ rooms and take a romantic hot air balloon over the dunes.
Back to the sky for an incredible flight over the Atlantic Coastline and inland to the Hoanib Valley. Search for desert-adapted giraffe and walk through the maze of dry riverbeds and sandy plains in the Hoanib Valley. Leave the plane behind then for the spectacular drive to the Skeleton Coast where you’ll stay at award-winning Shipwreck Lodge where and enjoy quad-biking, dune boarding, 4×4 drives and dune sundowners. Cap off this exciting honeymoon at Etosha Mountain Lodge. Go out in search of big cats and watch for signs of elephant on the horizon; photograph all the action at the waterhole in front of camp; hop on a night drive with some of the best guides out there; and, of course, track endangered rhino, the icons of the area.
