It offers the chance to observe the spectacle of the wildebeest migration, classified among the “Seven Wonders of the World” as well as the opportunity to be surrounded by the incredible marine life of the Maldives’ reefs. Paradise, pure and simple, sleep under canvas surrounded by African wildlife and then luxuriate in a romantic villa looking out over a picture-perfect Maldivian beach.
Your lantern-lit Maasai Mara safari will take place at Elephant Pepper Camp, in the private Mara North Conservancy. The camp is remote, away from other camps, and is the epitome of intimacy with only 8 tents. With the private conservancy having restricted access to other vehicles, you will have this part of the Masai Mara, almost to yourselves. Gamedriving is outstanding, with a resident pride of lions, cheetahs and leopard; and of course the famous zebra and wildebeest migration surrounding the camp in the months of July – October. In the Maldives, you will stay at the charming and small resort, Komandoo, which you will reach via an exciting sea plane transfer. Surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, it is the only resort on the island. Expect barefoot island living, personable service, seafood dinners on the beach, spectacular sunsets and a host of watersport activities including diving and snorkelling.
