A bespoke luxury Seychelles family holiday to an unspoilt tropical island, surrounded by nature's wonders where you can immerse yourself in a fascinating range of activities. Alphonse Island, managed by Blue Safari Seychelles, blends sustainable tourism with exceptional experiences. A family holiday here is also about earth's natural wonders, on land and sea; adventures that will ensure your children are talking about them long after you return home.
Flights by light aircraft from Mahe Island to Alphonse are on Saturdays, with an occasional Wednesday flight, so most stays are for 7 nights. Alphonse offers a choice of accommodation for families; for this itinerary we have chosen a Beach Suite with children sharing, although larger Beach Villas with separate rooms are available. Three meals daily are included and there's free public Wi-fi if you feel the need to connect! Complimentary activities include bicycles, kayaks, snorkelling equipment and stand-up paddle boards.
The real joy and thrill of a family holiday on Alphonse is to take part in some of the unique excursions available, all mostly revolving around the island's fascinating nature. A selection of these experiences are complimentary to guests and include guided cycle rides, kayak tours and guided snorkelling trips. One of the highlights is the unique flats lunch - an amazing dining experience like no other where you have a delicious buffet while sitting on the sand flats in what appears like the middle of the ocean while marine life passes you by; truly exhilarating for all ages! Another fascinating tour is with the Island Conservation Society (ICS); on this everyone can learn more about the free-roaming giant Aldabra tortoises, the heavily endangered hawksbill and green turtles, as well as many species of birds. Read our Blue Safari Blog for more details about the various conservation projects taking place.
Alphonse offers a huge choice of tailored excusrsions - all with highly-knowledgeable guides - that can be pre-booked with us, from fly and blue water fishing to some of the best diving in Seychelles.
